Flashback! (in bed!)

I love it when shows about the past do flashbacks.

So, this was mother's day 195-?  I can't tell - her beauty is so timeless.

I bet this is an old house.  I probably have to pay more attention to the narrative.  Pfft.

Another great cardigan!!

Oh dear god, this is the episode when they give that moron the car keys.

What a tiny set.  Mary Hartman's kitchen was bigger than this.

"You know, Jack, the upside is that he has a much higher chance of getting written out of the show now that he is driving."

According to Wikipedia,

We get to anticipate Mrs. Arnold in 100 episodes.

"Norma Arnold (Alley Mills): Kevin's stay-at-home mother. Unlike her husband Jack, she is friendly and upbeat. She met Jack as a college freshman. When he graduated, she moved across the country with him and didn't finish college. She eventually gets her degree late in the series, and starts working at a software startup called Micro Electronics. She is shown to be more moderate (in contrast with her more conservative husband) and increasingly becoming bored and yearning to break away from her homemaker role hence reflecting the rise of feminism in the 1960s. (100 episodes)"

Seafood Restaurant on Summer Vacation, 1970!

Norma looks amazing.  I love how even the bow on her head is sad, but hopeful too.

What kind of crazy joint is this?

"No, Wayne, I don't know why you are even in this show, either.
Now hush.  We're trying to have a vacation."

"Get out of the shot, kid.  Me and my orange bow have this on lock."
